I am a natural light photographer based in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. My style is candid portraiture....not posed, simply catching the authentic relationships and spark that exist before my camera. I specialize in children and families.
My photographic education started back with film in high school where the magic of the dark room took hold of my heart in a fierce way. My career as an English teacher has taken me all over the U.S., but always lurking in my bag was my camera and the need to capture it all. I am happiest when I am goofing off with my three kids and husband; but a close second is when I am mid-photo session, laughing with my clients, and capturing what is most special about them.
My other loves include playing ice hockey with the awesome women of the Lakes Region, drinking coffee with my husband, celebrating my friendship with my pals from 7th grade, and running the hills of NH with the same set of songs that I put on my Shuffle three years ago.
